Differentiate between Deal Reg and Lead in SAP Cloud Applications Studio

Hi,

How can I differentiate between Deal Registration and Lead in PDI, as both the screens use the same business object "LeanLead".

One way to differentiate is by the ID generated. For Deal Registration, the ID starts with "DR..". But what If I want to create a deal from LeanLead by using CreateWithReference action?

Is there any particular typecode which differentiates the two?

Hi,

One way to identify is based on the processing type code in LeanLead->Lead-ProcessingTypeCode.

Thank for your reply. Is there anyway to track this from Lead BO?

My requirement is to create a custom action that will convert a lead to Deal. I am using CreateWithReference method to create an instance of Lead. I want to convert this instance to a Deal.

I need some attribute which I can overwrite and save this newly created instance as deal instead of Lead.

Hi Ambuja,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a Deal from PDI, you can request for it via Idea place and provide with use case.
