RFC HTTPS connection

Hi,

I need a HTTPS connection to a external server. Therefore I configured a type G RFC connection in SAP XI. When I activate SSL, I need to select SSL Client (Anonymous) or SSL Client (Standard). After saving the RFC, I get the warning "SSL client PSE DFAULT does not exist". Giving an enter the Connection is saved and looks ok. Then I test the connection, but then I get the error "Create failed: Argument not found". In transaction SMICM no entries can be found for the connection test. When I deactivate SSL, the connection can be saved without the warning and also the test is successfull.

I expect that the selected SSL client is the missing parameter, but how can I correct this? In transaction STRUST not much can be done. I found some information that it could be a SAP Basis issue?

Could you help me?

regards,

Mark van Dooren

The URL's don't give an solutuion to my problem. I think the problem is caused by the system copy we did. When I have a look in STRUST, I see CN=IXI. IXI is the SID of the original system and not the new system. Maybe we need to regenerate the client certificates in the new machine under the correct CN?

Hi Mark,

SSL client PSE DFAULT does not exist

It is just a warning you can do Enter and proceed Check out SAP Note 510007

- After you selected "Basic Authentication", open logon pad and try to logon to integration client using XIISUSER and installation password (default xipass)

- Also under STRUST, u should import the client certificate

- This step is also a must
