HI,

is there any way to filter on the matchcode?

I need to create a Variable on 0EMPLOYEE. This variable, should filter the employees that have "X" on ZGDEE atribute, and so the user can choose from this filtered list.

thanks for the help.

Mauricio

Hi,

did you find a solution for your issue? because I have the same problem with a different infoobject where I have to restrict the possible entries of a matchcode related to attribute of the infoobject.

Kindly regards, Roberto

Thanks for the tip, and sorry for the delay.

I tried you suggestion, but the data shown in the Matchcode list is not filtered.

I also hay another problem: I'm creating a WAD page and I'm using several queries to show data, from different infoproviders. some of this infoproviders don't have the navigational attribute, what can it happen if I turn it on?. Some of the queries are based on 0EMPLOYEE masterdata infoobject, so there is no navigational attribute to turn on, what can I do?

thanks again for the help.

Mauricio.

Hi Mauricio,

Make ZGDEE as navigational attribute of 0EMPLOYEE.

And in the filter area drag 0EMPLOYEE_ZGDEE and restrict it to 'X'.

It should work.

If I understand your question correctly, I think you could make 0EMPLOYEE__ZGDEE a navigational attribute, then add a filter to the query for 0EMPLOYEE__ZGDEE = "X". That should also limit the items shown on the filter list for 0EMPLOYEE.

Hope this helps...
