How to show Employees within Organizational Structure

Dear all,

first of all, I'm new here. So hi to everyone. Glad that the platform exists!

We're currently implementing SAP BW/BO. We're running Bex Queries and Web Intelligence. The WebI reports are supposed to be based on Bex queries.

I'm having the problem that I cannot display the employees within the org. structure. A structure consisting of 2 units A and subordinate unit B and 4 employees 1-4 of which 1-2 are in A and 3-4 are in B would look like this:

A
1
2
3
4
B
3
4

I assume that part of the problem is that I have org. structure as hierarchy in WebI and employee as additional dimension. The question is, how can they be linked? I already learned that "scope of analysis" option is not available when dealing with Bex queries as data source.

Can anybody tell me how that can be fixed?

Thanks and kind regards,
Thomas

Hi,

if you are talking about a structure defined in BEX-> it is represented as a hierarchy in WebI

if you are talking about a hierarchy on Org unit combine with 0employee, where as the rows properties is set as display as hierarchy. THis setting is not taken in account in WEBI, If your need that kind of hierarchy, you will need to develop a new hierarchy based upon Org and EMployee

what is your BO version?

Grtz
