Need Time PCR for Transfer of an Employee from 1 ESG to Other

Hello Experts,

Need your help to write a custom PCR in Time Management. The scenario is

For Example: There are 2 ESG (Trainee & Non Trainee), if the Trainee period is from 1st Jan to 30th April (2 * 4 = 8 days), and if he/she promoted to Non Trainee from 1st May (remaining 8 months, 8 * 3 = 24 days) then he/she should get 8 + 24 = 32 days on the day of promotion.

Thanks & Regards,

Vinay

Questions:

1 - Do the "Trainee & Non Trainee" share the same PSA Grouping for Quotas and ESG Grouping for Quotas?

2 - Upon Hiring, the employee gets 2 days per month for the Training Period (4 months). Can the training period last more than 4 months, and how do you calculate the "Non Trainee" Quota Allowance if Hiring happened on March 15 (as an example)?

3 - Have you ever written a PCR for Time Management and have you ever modified your Time Evaluation Schema?

Hi,

For the sake of understanding the requirement, are you talking about accruing a quota ?

Assuming you are I will restate it as follows. If not you will need to elaborate.

A trainee employees accrues a quota at a certain rate (your business rules) but the quota is not yet available in IT2006.

At some stage the employee is promoted to a non trainee (organisational reassignment) and their accrual rate changes (as per your business rules) On the date of promotion, the accrual as a trainee and the accrual for the remainder of the year ? (still to be worked) gets posted to IT2006.

If my assumptions are correct then I would probably approach it as follows.

Requires 2 PCRs, a suitable quota generation rule and three time types

During the period the employee is a trainee I would calculate his quota (PCR1) as per your business rules and store in a time type Z001 (TES and SALDO)

PCR2 would check is the employee a non trainee. If he is and if he has not already had this quota generated then make the contents of Time type Z001 plus what ever quota he is entitled as a non trainee for the remainder of the year (as per your business rules) available to a Quota generation rule via another time type Z002. This will post the required quota to IT2006.

PCR2 would utilise a time type Z003 as a flag (would need to be stored on TES and SALDO) to indicate that the employee had got the accrual ensuring the posting logic only fires once.
