SAP EP 7.50 - Problem with WPC Migration

Hi,

we've been upgrading our SAP EP 7.0 Portal to 7.5 and started the Migration for the Web Page Composer.

Unfortunately the Migration fails with the following errormessage:

ception occured while trying to get an area from KM with the id: pcd:com.sap.portal.pcc/StagingAreaId/STAGERAREA/STAGE/AREA
[EXCEPTION]
com.sap.portal.pcc.pccservices.PCCException: com.sapportals.wcm.WcmException: Page resource must have type wpc_page

From the FAQ and HowTos this error means that the given resource type is not wpc_page and that the external connector in the role might not be the WPC:///XXX. I have checked these options, the given SAP Portalrole has the external connector set.

What could i check next so the migration does not fail at this area?

Hi Pascal

As per the error that you have mentioned I came across a document which deals with the basic troubleshooting of migration issues with WPC and it has one of that error as well dealing with solution
