Invalid Characters in Report!!

Hi,

When I execute the report it is giving the following error:

SQL0420N Invalid character found in a character string argument of the

function "INTEGER". SQLSTATE=22018

Message no. RS_EXCEPTION000

Report is over an ODS where in if i delete a particular request it is not showing this error message.

But it didn't inform any error when I activated or loaded the ODS.

I ran RSRV for the ODS oblect which gives me the error

"The SID values are missing for 1 specifications for characteristic ZTECODATE"

This error is not coming when that particular request is deleted from the target.

The infoobject is a reference characteristics to 0DATE and thus i can also not load that. When i try to correct the error through RSRV it is not correcting also.

Any body faced similar problems and got succedded please advice.

The particular field for which it gave error message as invalid character is blank value. When we checked that value is filled in some situation by user exit as

<field name> = ' '

We have changed this to

CLEAR <field name>

and reloaded. It worked!!!
