Custom Field as Value Selection type of field

Hi Experts

Is it possible to create a custom field and make it a Value Selection type of field?

My business scenario is, when a Partner Contact (third party agent) is created, there will be a custom field "Recruited By". It should be Employees values the user can select, hence the Value Selection type of field.

So you want to be able to search also, bu inserting for example "Vill" to display the available options, right?

I want to be able to search for Employees maintained in the system. For example, I have Denmar and Chris as some Employee object I have maintained in C4C. Adapting my given scenario, when I create a Partner Contact, inside the object there should be a custom field for "Recruited By" for example. When I edit the object, this custom field should be able to let me choose either Denmar or Chris.
