Hi,
What is the difference between the monitoring done on the Runtime Workbench and the one done using SXMB_MONI.

Hey
in addition to what Michal said,
in RWB u have various options to pin point the message monitoring,u have adapter monitoring, component monitoring, performance monitoring, end to end monitoring etc, which tells u a lot about the whole message flow
where as in SXMB_MONI u can only see whether the message is being delivered properly of not.
it has happened to me quiet some times that i see chequered flag in MONI but in RWB there is some error.
so i would say that both go hand in hand and one must use both to make sure that scenario is correct
thanx

Hi Nani,
sxmb_moni or sxi_monitor tells whether we have any error in the XI pipeline process.... but it will not tell if we have any errors on the adapters.
So for checking any errors on the adapters and the errors for communicaiton channels we need to go with runtime workbench.
Cheers,
Prasanthi.

RWB can also show message on adapter framework (java stack)
SXMB_MONI can only show messages on integration engine (abap stack)
