Issues with intervals in 3keh - Urgent

Former Member

I am setting up derivation rules for specific account which are already included in the 3keh, but i get error message stating that the account is not part of the interval specified in additional account. i have tried creating interval for the specific account and it seems to be working, however i have many accounts to set, is there a better way than this or what could i be doing wrong?

I am setting these rules in version 4.7 to control the assignment to profit center. are there any relevant information on business area to profit center derivation rules? Thank you.

Hi

If the number range intervals are defined properly, these type of problems will not araise.

You need to track all Balance sheet accounts and income accounts and determine the same for all accounts, whether default profit center is required or not.

As PCA activated, every posting needs to be update in PCA at the end.So, better take the list of the details into excel sheet and do accordingly.

no other way you can check the profit center assignment for each GL wise

Hi,

When the derivation rules is based on accounts you have fill them all with te values from 3KEH.

It is possible not to use g/l accounts but other fields like company code. Then you have only to fill in one value by company code

When you have a lot off entries export, 3keh to EXCEL. Make there the changes and copy it from there by block to your derivation rules.
