Installed Bases in Plant Maintenance and Customer Services

Dear Experts

Is there any configurations available under Plant Maintenance or Customer Services? How do we use Installed bases in PM&CS?

We don't have CRM module.

Can anyone explain me a Business Scenario of how to use Installed bases in Plant Maintenance and Customer services? Just a hint would be fine!

Installed Base is almost never used in PM, and seldom used in CS.

SAP stopped devloping it in R3/ECC and continued the development in CRM.

This is a strange requirement from the Business. They don't have CRM module in Place and they want to implement the Installed Bases through Plant maintenance and Customer Services Module. Is it possible to do it?

In SAP Easy Access, Installed Base is under Plant maintenance only. Please refer to the attachmentib.jpg
