Scaling page size DIN A4 to Letter

Our aim is to scale the existing Adobe forms designed with page format DIN A4 during printout to US letter format. I tested the job profiles, but they allow only a resizing for PCL / PS to Letter. Then the PDF page size is set but the page gets truncated and information get lost

Using SAPSPrint, i can set the "Shrink to Fit Page Size" switch. This allows a real scaling from A4 to Letter. Alternatively, you can use Acrobat Reader in print dialog.

However, the problem remains that the PDF should also be sent to US American customers / suppliers by E-Mail. In that case the PDF page size is still DIN A4 and we can't influence the print output at the customer / supplier side. Maybe they get in trouble then trying to printout a page size A4 to their letter format printers.

Therefore, it would be best to scale first and then set the PageSize to Letter in the PDF. Are there any possibilities for doing so or can I control something like this via the XDC file and how ?

A form redesign should be the last step / option according to current state of knowledge.

Thanks for your ideas.
