XML IDoc conversion: No known segments identified

Hi all,

am working on a File to IDoc scenario. In runtime, error occurs at Call Adapter phase.

<SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>

<SAP:Code area="IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_METADATA</SAP:Code>

<SAP:P1>XML IDoc conversion: No known segments identified</SAP:P1>

Can anyone help me in diagnosing.

Hi Check in IDX2 if the meta data is loaded if not plz load the metadata and then try the scenario

The problem would be with the XML file format .As bhavesh as said can you provide the output.

Can you show us the output of your mapping, i.e the idoc that is generated as a rsult ofyour mapping?

Actually my mapping hasn't got executed but reached Call Adapter phase. Lemme first check the mapping part. Anyways Thank You

Hi,

This issue wis not with Mapping.

The issue is that the utout of the mapping does not confirm to the Idoc metadata,

Exactly why I want to look at the output of the mapping.

Make sure that the idoc tag has the attrbute with value BEGIN =1 and all segments have attributes SEGMENT = 1
