Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to have two different external number ranges for Object Job(C) in the system. One range specific to each group. While creating a new job(i.e. PP01), system should validate the external number ranges configured in tcode OONR for job based on the group(Organisation). We have created two different range in OONR but could not find configuration point to assign the range specific to a group.

We found one exit 'RHIV0001' and implemented the same for validating external number ranges using "EXIT_SAPLRHIV_002 Customer exit: Check external numbers".

But the problem we are facing is after activating this, system is not performing any standard validation to other object types for external number assignment.

Could you please suggest, Is this the standard behaviour or is there any other way to achieve this requirement.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Regards,

Hi Devi Prasad,

If you want to allot separate number range series for object type C i.e job, then you can utilize the standard subgroup as $$C with number range as IN i.e internal. when create a Job ID (Object type C) then the system generates based on the number range maintained in it. Its a standard behavior User Exit is not necessary
