SAP BI 4.2 SP4 Fiori Launchpad. How to switch between 2 URLs?

In BI 4.2 SP4, Firori Launchpad has separate URL and it is challenging to share the 2 different URLs for Viewer and Designer. What is the best way to converge / any way to let the user switch between the urls ?

I have the same question. Users are trained to go to one URL and now we'll have to recondition them to go to another one if they want to use the enhanced features.

Please clarify your question.
Bi4.2 SP4 doesn't have different URL's for designer and Viewer (whatever that might be). Bi4.2 Sp4 has a traditional bilaunchpad with full functionality and new, experimental Launchpad with limited functionality.
You cannot converge them as those are 2 different webapps.
The users can switch between them via browser shortcuts (which can be pushed to user browsers centrally - contact Microsoft for how to).

But the question is - how/why is it challenging to share 2 URL's ?

Given a scenario, we have multiple reports with OpenDoc functionality. If we view the Parent Report in 'experimental launchpad' and open child report (using Opendoc) link, it opens up in 'tranditional launchpad'.

How to overcome the issue since parent is opening in 'experimental' vs child report in 'traditional' launchpad.

you'll just have to wait till opendoc functionality is expanded with new fiori based functionality, until then - there is no way.
