Hi Experts,
I Have Some Doubts Regarding the Creation of New Clients And Users.
Here we have IDES Server in our Organization. There is no Clients And Users. We have only One, that is Admin User(For Development )
1..How to create a New Client????
2..How to create a New User????
3..How to See the All Users And the Clients that have been Already Created on the IDES .
4.How to Know Which is the Admin User Account??????Is there Any Logic to this
.
Please Help me in all the Above Mentioned Questions.
Regards
Khanna
Hi
1. To create a new client go to transaction SCC4...as far as logical system name is concerned u can leave it blank for now...
This will create a new client but it will be empty...u need to do a client copy...if u wanna knw dat please lemme knw dat....
2. To create a new user use transaction SU01...
3. Run SCC4 transaction there you can view the list of the clients in the system.
For viewing the users created manually in the system, go to transaction SU01 and in the User field enter " * " and Press F4 key...that will show you the list of users that have been created.
4. Administrator accounts are by default created for every client....SAP* & DDIC are the default admin clients which are created.
In IDES der is a user IDADMIN which shud be having a password IDES123.
This should solve all your queries.
If any further doubts you can ask.

[reward with points if useful]
1. you'll have to insert the (new) client data into table t000 by using transaction SCC4...after that you will be able to logon to this new client using user SAP* with password 'pass'...you then have the option to copy over data and user from any other client...use transaction SCCL (local copy) and the appropriate copy template...
2. use transaction SU01 in order to create new users
3. SCC4 -> clients | SU01 -> users
4. DDIC, SAP* and any other user that has adminsitrative rights (such as authorization profiles SAP_ALL...)
-> ever worked with IDES/SAP before?
