Time wage type valuation using valuation bases

Hi sap gurus,

I have a query regarding valuation of time wage type using valuation bases.SAP standard system provide 3 valuation bases wage types /001 , /002 and /003. And if we want to include a particular wage type in a specific valuation base then we do it by specifying the appropriate specification for processing class 1 .

1) Is it possible to use some other secondary wage type as valuation bases other then these three secondary wage types ?.

2) If so then how can we specify that this valuation base will be calculated/generated using specific wage type.is for this we have to develop some new specifications for processing class or there is some other way to do it.

3) Now if i want to specify that a particular time wage type 1OTP will be calculated using the newly generated valuation bases then how can i link the wage type with this valuation base.

Hi

Valuation bases /001,002,003 are system generated W/T captures the values as per the specifications which v have given in proc cls 1.

1.u can't use other /wt fro valuation bases cos each /wt is assigned with specific task in payroll processing.

2.if u spl requirement u have to create prc cls and their specifications with 9 series.

and also create /wt with 9 series to capture ur valuation base amt.

3.u have to develop it through PCR, add the amt which u got in /wt to the custom wt in the PCR.

these are all spl requirements, we can devlop it through pcrs.
