Drill Down in Measure & Indicator for OPI

I have created some measures and indicators using both context and also from Hana based Calculation view, but for none of them drill down functionality (i.e. it will open some chart or table once I click any measure and indicator from OPI dashboard) is not working.

Can you please guide me whether there are some additional activities need to be performed for drill down or is it related to some missing authorization.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your valuable input. We find out the reason, in our system, OPI service pack level was not compatible with corresponding Hana version. So the drill down was not working. When we updated our OPI version and it started working.

Hi Shiv, In my experience any authorisation problems cause the Measure tile to be greyed out. I.e. The if OPI user cannot access the data then even the aggregate number on the tile cannot be calculated. I have never seen the tile working fine and the drill down not working.

Check the Analytical privileges for the user, and try to grant a test user full access in Dev? Or try to check that the user can access the same views via another tool (Studio or HANA Live)

If you recently upgraded, then I have noticed some changes when going to OPI SP13 (HANA SP 12) where users lost access to views that previously worked.
