Kernel upgrade from release 620 to 640

Hi,

I am planning to upgrade my Kernel from release 620 to 640.

could any one let me know which files are neccessary and any link for this upgrade

Hi,

Considering ur SAP runs on Windows+Oracle 9i release.u need to download two .SAR files ie., Database dependant and database independant.

goto service.sap.com/swdc

Downloads->SAP Support Packages->Entry by application group->SAP Application Components-> SAP R/3 ENTERPRISE-> SAP R/3 ENTERPRISE 47X200-> Entry by Component-> SAP R/3 Enterprise Server->SAP KERNEL 6.40 32-BIT UNICODE->Windows Server on IA32 32bit->#Database independent->SAPEXE_175-20000252.SAR

AND

Downloads->SAP Support Packages->Entry by application group->SAP Application Components-> SAP R/3 ENTERPRISE-> SAP R/3 ENTERPRISE 47X200-> Entry by Component-> SAP R/3 Enterprise Server->SAP KERNEL 6.40 32-BIT UNICODE->Windows Server on IA32 32bit->ORACLE->SAPEXEDB_175-20000254.SAR
