Can we have a date field as measure ?

Hi Team ,

I need a report to display the status of products based on dates of delivery . For this I think I have to use the date field as a measure. Please let me know if it is possible or a work around.

In my opinion, SAP Analytics Cloud does not support "DATE" as a type in the account dimension. I have seen BI focused models (no planning) using separate dimensions to display or track the data. Or an alternative is to find a numeric schema that you may live with in your use case, as a surrogate account value until this functionality is adopted. (ie. Dates equate to 20170626, 20170627, etc) If you can, please add the need to the IDEA place for the product, or VOTE an existing request in the same topic.
