An internal error occured while calling 'createDocument' API.(Error: ERR_WIS_30270) (WIS 30270).

I installed BO 4.2 sp3 client in my system. Whenever I open Webi Rich Client, and click on any data source to create a document, I get the above mentioned error. I am not able to get to the solution for this error. On the other hand, my peers and colleagues are not facing any issues with same installations. Any timely help would really be appreciated!

Make sure your client installation version is inline with your Server version. Also try to uninstall and reinstall the client installer to see if something wrong in current client installation .

The server client installations are inline and I have also tried uninstallation-reinstallation multiple times withoit any success for this issue.

Here are a few things you can try to narrow down:

Is it only happening in rich client? What about Launchpad? In both Applet (java) and HTML mode?

Are other users experiencing this as well? Could it be access related?

Are existing documents working fine? Modifying their data sources? Is it only with creating new ones?

It is only happening in WEBI Rich Client. Launchpad is working perfectly fine. No other users/colleagues are facing it. They are able to open a universe or HANA view whatever they want. Its only happening in my system.
