Apply to automatically created transactions - Cost Center Set up

Hi Experts,

My colleagues have a question regarding cost accounting set up in general setting:

Does anyone know what the following setting related to cost centers is v9.2 is? Apply to automatically created transactions.

Dear Mahj,

firstly, this check box will be enabled only when block posting is selected for projects or distribution rules to prevent releasing the posting with an error message. secondly, selecting this check box (Apply to Automatically Created Transactions) will prevent users from updating automatic journal entries without selecting selecting distribution rule for G/L accounts related to cost centers.
