Dear team,

How can I create a condition to disable (or grey out) an extended field based on a selection from a codelist on an xbo.

i.e field 1:
private
public

field 2:
disabled if "public" is picked.

Kind regards,
Matt

Hi,

Not really sure if this is the best approach to achieve it but we did this in our project...

You can create 1 more extension field of type INDICATOR in your XBO. And in AfterModify event based on the desired CodeList value mark the newly added field as "true" or false.

In the Standard Screen using extensibility explorer bind the property of standard field with the extended "Indicator" field which you marked as true/false in AfterModify.

Thanks

Saurabh
