Disable the EPM logon box when opening a report from Excel

Hello,

We have recently upgraded to EPM 2.4 and have an issue where users can save an EPM report in an excel file locally and when they open it in Excel it prompts them to login as the reports are saved to refresh on open. We do want the refresh on open to be active when the user accesses the reports through EPM but not when they have saved it locally. Is there a way to stop the automatic logon showing when a user opens a report they have saved locally in Excel?

Not possible. Only some VBA that will use flags in workbook_open and epm event function for the same. If local copy is opened workbook_open event will trigger. If you open file from server folder - workbook_open will not trigger. Epm function will trigger in both cases.
