How to manage the validity period of Material Group on ECC 6.0

Hi everyone,

I need to manage the validity period of material group. In other words I want to can block a material group if it's expired, I want to avoid the creation of a material with this MG, to avoid the creation of purchase orders and contracts. I'm looking for a standard solution on sap help and on ECC customizing, but I could'nt find nothing. Have you some good news for me?
