transport a role problem

hi

who to transfer a role one client to another client.

in my dev server 2 clients 230& 320 are created

in 230 client a created a role .

now am sending 230 to 320.

when am transport a role using mass transport it given the error. client specific objects are not transported.

but i want that role in 320 client .

pls help me how to copy or transfer a role.

Hi

You go to TCode PFCG and create a role and assigned Tcode SCC1 for this role.SCC1 used for transport a request in same system and different client.

use tcode scc1

or download the role and again upload from PFCG --> role --> download and in target client PFCG --> role --> upload.

Hi,

If you want to do mass roles, you can:

Run SCC8 and use SAP_USER as the selected profile, import to the target system using STMS.

For just a single role or a few roles:

In PFCG, do role transport or do role download, and in target system import in STMS using above method or do role upload. (please note role download will save to your local machine so you can copy to other machine to upload)
