Dear all,
I have set up a work order with two operations with each 1 h work.
Basic start = today; Basic end = 2 weeks from now; Forwards in time and not adjusting basic dates on scheduling.
After scheduling the scheduled start is now and the scheduled finish is 2 h from now. As expected.
When I enter a relationship FS between 0010 and 0020 (without a time interval) and schedule again, the scheduled finish is set based on the latest finish of the last operation (= basic end date, 2 weeks from now)
Also when I enter a time interval it will set the scheduled finish based on the latest finish date of the last operation.
I was expecting that SAP would put the earliest finish date in the scheduled finish date based on the Forward in time scheduling. That should not change based on a relationship.
Can anyone explain this behavior?
Regards,
Robert
Hi all, I have the same issue, in a work order after a relationship, the CM33 shows the scheduling starting from latest dates (it becomes backward) even it is forward at header level.
can you support me please?
thanks

Hi Peter,
The problem is that the relationship is messing up my forward scheduling. Even a simple FS relationship between the 2 operations will give me the latest finish date back instead of the earliest finish date.

Robert

Have a look at this OSS Note which explains how order scheduling works.
