Data Source Not Active - Effetcs

Hi Experts,

I have an important question..

Actually I have running a delta update and when I check the datasource the message is 'Datasource is not active in A version'. And when I check it in R/3 (t.code RSA3) the msg is the same.

That I can not understant, is how is possible that the extraction work well every day. What are the effects if I have executing loads with datasources not active in version A.

    Somebody could transport some infoobject to PRD if this infoobject appears in your datasource it could be deactivated ...check if your datasource is effectively deactivated and check if the infoobjects are recently updated

    Hi dear,

    are you using BI 7.0 version ?

    Look at OSS Note 936644 "Emulated DataSource is not available as active version"...

      Thanks for your answer but Im not sure if this apply in this case...

      We have BW 350 with SP22. The extractor is "Z"

      How can I active this datasource in the source system?
