Hi all,
When I deploy an application WEBDynpro java in NWDS the process of deployment is taking much time and it does not return any error. Making a deployment in console mode, I perceived that the open assembly time is when sdm shows the message Checking if SDM is running on port 50018 .
Also, I perceived that when I tried to undeploy in RemoteGUI.bat , the process did not fianalize... the sdm is trying to make the undeploy for much time and does not obtain any result.
I think the problem is the port. I've already restarted the server and the service, and the problem persists.
please, give me help.

Elton,
I assume that you are with in a firewall and the SDM port 50018 would have been blocked.
Check with your admin guys to open that port.
Ensure that your J2EE Engine details are correct.
Ensure Your Ping is successful.

Elton,
Did you get to solve your problem? I'm having the same issue and I don't know why.
The difference is that my first deployment works fine, but the second gets stuck.
The Deploy Output View within the Developer Studio shows that the temporary copy of the ear file was created but it nevers shows that the deployment was finished.
Hello Elton,
The deployment for the First Time takes time.
If u deploy the same Application again , r u able to get an Error message saying " The current application is already in the Process of Deployment " ????
If not then there is some problem with the SDM.
