Navigation Attributes in Multicube

I have a MultiCube (Technical Facility Management). Most of the attributes I want to read from InfoObjects 0ASSET, 0ASSET_MAIN, 0ASSET_CLAS, 0ASSET_AFAB and 0COSTCENTER. I added the InfoObjects as sources to the MultiCube and identified the Navigation Attributes directly with the InfoObjects-Attributes. When checking, the Multicube is consistent but the content of the Navigation Attributes does not show up when I want to look at the complete data.

What am I missing here? Is it uncommon to add the InfoObject directly to the Multicube? Should I maybe put some DSO in between and fill them with the InfoObject Data? What are my alternatives?

Thanks for your Input.

Update (To whom it may concern :-))

I still got the message "0ASSET cannot be used for reading master data" after rearranging the InfoObject to be filled into the cube below. I found the SNOTE 2066625 and after some messing around managed to get it into the system. And voila, 0ASSET can be used to read master data again. Problem solved.

Hi,

at first make sure that you have activated the data in the infoobject -> right click activate data and the navigational attributes should then be filled in the infoobject. In the multiprovider they are just virtualized (projected) what in the infoobjects stays.

Please let me know if that work..

did you add the same infoobjects (and nav attributes) in the cubes that are part of the multiprovider? And correctly assigned the different objects in the multicube definition?

Yes, the objects are correctly assigned in the MultiCube. They still don't show up.

And no. I did not add the InfoObjects to the cubes below since that's exactly what I wanted to avoid. I wanted to add the InfoObject not until the MultiCube to save me some work.

But I'm starting to think my method is inconvenient. It probably makes more sense to add the InfoObjects to the Cubes in the layer below and unassign the InfoObjects in the Multicube. Instead, I'll only use the cubes from below as sources for . Does that make more sense?

yes, that is in my opinion a better approach. You can try this and see if it works. If not, we continue the search
