Why we need the object type and where we use it?
Dear Yulin,
Object type is used to distinguish the different objects in SAP (Mostly in OM).
There are two types of Object Types :
1) Internal Object Types (Objects belonging to OM like position, person, org unit, job)
2) External Object types.(Outside OM For eg : Material ,Cost center, Capacity)
The table of object types is T778O & if you are adding external object types then
you need to create entry in T77EO.
Hope this information is useful.
Kindly reward if useful.
Regards & Thanks,
