I know that Several configuration options affect the behavior of the MDM Import
Manager itself, while others allow you to specify the default settings and
values for how the MDM Import Manager interprets and processes
source data. Actually, when I go to the configuration option, I can see a lot of options provided by system. Do not have the direction, could anyone tell me which fields changed will have an impact on the others in MDM import manager. Please give me an example. You don't need to copy the documentation, because I already had. Thanks!
Alfred
As you said" change the default value "," to "/". The record value 100,000 will be stored as 100/000 in your MDM", After I changed setting from "," to "/", and change material No. from 2202 to 22020000 in loacl excel file, and then logon MDM import manager again, but what I see is that material no 22020000 was not change to the format 22/020/000, please give me advice. Thanks!

Hi Alfred,
As you said there are many configuration options available in Import Manager.
Making changes in configuration option definitely impacts the behavior of Import Manager.
For Example,
There is a option called Numeric Format, under this there is a field called 1000s separator. The default value is ",".
Say a record in the source data has a value 100,000. Now this has to be imported into MDM. If you change the default value "," to "/". The record value 100,000 will be stored as 100/000 in your MDM.
Like this, every option may change the behavior or format of the imported data.
Hope this helped you.
Thanks,
