I had applied the above patch but when i start SAP it is showing <b>Dialog status info unavailable.</b>

what may be the reason.i have downloaded database dependent and independent .SAR files.

please give me the correct procedure.

Hi,

Have you tried to patch the kernel using JSPM. Hope you know the procedure.

If it doesnot recognize the kernel please do cross check whether you have taken the correct kernel.

Or the other procedure is to uncar both the database dependent and independent files.

Then paste the uncarred files in /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run.

Also make sure that when doing this your <b>instance as well as database has to be down</b>.

Any queries feel free to ask.

Hi,

Copy the kernel files to the folder <b>C:\usr\sap\trans\EPS\in.</b>

Then run the JSPM by running the go.bat in the location <b>C:\usr\sap\SID\JCxx\j2ee\JSPM</b>.

This is the JSPM procedure.

Or if you want to use the second method the instance as well as the database has to be down.

Stop these services.

SAPSID_CI

SAPSID_SCS

SQL server active directory.

SQL sever full text search.

SQL server agent.

Hope it has cleared all your doubts.
