Hosting stand-alone HTML file on ECC 6 backend

Currently we are making a switch over to ECC 6 and one of the things that needs to be done is the transfer of a simple HTML document from our Standalone ITS server over to the backend server. What we need to know is where to put the file on our backend server so that it corresponds to a standard URL. Is this a simple matter of placement in to a certain directory? Is it something that needs to be done in SE80?

For reference the backend server is running HP-UX.

Thank you, Tobias.

After mucking around in SE80 for a bit we figured out how a published HTML document is translated to a URL that was then used in a JavaScript re-direct. The point in the right direction really helped.

Hi Aaron,

this can be done using the SE80. Each Internet service has a folder mime objects.

There you can create such a file and upload the contents. You might take the Internet

Service IT00 as a reference.

Do not forget to publish that object.

regards

Tobias
