Hi,

I want to restrict 0COSTCENTER by using two kind of variables on the same IO (0COSTCENTER).

One with a type of variable on Hierarchy node and one with a type 'characteristic value'.

it is possible??

How can i customize this ???

thanks per advance for your answer

Normally by using either one should be sufficient (would suggest using hierarchy in this case). Is there any particular reason why both types of usage is required?

We want to generate hierarchy authorization by using ODS (0TCA_DS02) and allow people to update Cost center auth by populate ODS (0TCA_DS01) and generate authorization too.

But in bex query we need 2 variables to take in count the two ways.

any idea ??

the variable is based on the infoobject. So its kind of a one-to-one relationship. I had tested such a scenario before in BW3.5 and it didn´t work as expected because union authorizations back then caused problems.

Anyway, just ensure the variable is set as selection-options (for full flexibility) and auth. Hope it helps.
