COPC - Price Marking

I'm Akma from Malaysia. Actually I need your help regarding the COPC . I have a problem to do Price Update (txn : CK24).

The scenario is my material devide by 2 valuation type (inhouse and external). B4 this I can do the price update using CK24. During the testing, suddenly I delete the future price in costing view (Material Master) using CKR1 (Reorganization of Cost Estimates) . After that, I do the costing run (CK11N) and save succesfully. When I do price marking (CK24), the system didn't give any error but the system prompt information message that "Of 0 materials, 0 cost estimates wer" (message number : CK 705) . Therefore I couldn't release the new price.

Hi,

Hope you have only deleted the Future planned price( not deleted released current price). Then no problem new cost estimate can be once again marked and released.

But if you deleted the current price then you cannot release to the mat master, but still marking is possible in this case also.

In summary you can both the case you can do marking. If you still getting error in Marking...then please check the log and let me know full error details.

( I think you might be directly trying to release the costing to mat master...before marking....then you will get the error...so first do marking then do releasing)

But my cost estimate successfully save without any error. when I do the price update (CK24), the message as above come out...

It's that because of I delete the current price... ?? How to fix this problem....I have no idea what to do... I reallly need help....please help me..

Check your selection criteria in the request screen.

Check the period in the marking screen and ensure that you have selected correct fiscal year and period. Also check the marking allowance for the company code for which the cost are getting marked and the costing variant for which the marking is allowed.

I've already check, my posting period and fiscal year is correct and marking allowance for the company code also allowed , but still cannot. Same error come out...any idea..

Tq everybody.... my problem resolve already. What we did is, we delete marking allowed and put it back.. and its working..

In your case the material is subject to split valuation and hence you need to release cost at valuation type level. This can be acheived by using mixed costing. You need to maintain procurement alternatives ( t code CK91N) & update mixing ratio (t code CK94) for each of the valuation type. Also need to complete the settings in customizing by allowing mixed costing for valuation variant & version combination.

Once this is done, you can carry out the costing and update prices.

I've already do the mixed costing.. but still cannot. Now all material I can't do the price marking. It's that something wrong in material master or BOM or Routing...??

I really need yyou guys help... pleasee..
