can any one tell me waht is the use of RRI. In which secnario we r using RRI.

RRI is not only used to link report to report but also we can jump from a report to r/3 transaction with the help of rri.

example we generated a report on info cube which has fields empid ,empsal,emppf etc..,

if i want to know detailed information of emp say name ,add,contact.no.i will create an ods which has id name add contact of employee .now using rsbbs transaction code i will create a link between first report on infocube and second report on ods

By rigt clickin on any field in first report i can jump into second report

so, for lower level of granularity we use rri

for hierarchy also we can use this

Hi,

Say there is a scenario where you have the report with list of material.

Now you want details for materials you can create the target report of details of material .

If you want to navigate from one report to another report through any field in the report, we use RRI.

RSBBS is the transaction for this. Just try and let me know if any problems.
