Can CAR be used without IS Retail, if we have S/4 HANA

We have migrated to S/4 HANA Finance. Our core logistics processes are running on the same S/4 HANA platform but we do not have IS-Retail.

We want to have CAR and CRM before we move to IS Retail after IS Retail moves to S/4 HANA digital core. Is it possible? What are the things we need to be careful about

    Hi Writwik

Yes you can use CAR without IS Retail (as you can use it with any 3rd party ERP). It depends, for what purpose you are using CAR. The thing you need to be careful about is how you are doing schema mapping. As you are not using IS retail, required tables from the system will not be mapped to the HANA views and many of your predefined CAR calculation view might not work. But you can always use HANA modeling to get whatever you want.

Also depending on your landscape (CAR on same HANA database or separate) you will need to use SLT.

    Thanks
