Scenario 2:
Operation Number Operation

40 Heat Treatment

Whether the Operation Numbers are to be provided on a sequential way as in mentioned in Scenario 1?
OR
Is it advantageous to maintain Fixed Operation Number for a defined Operation as mentioned in Scenario 2? If yes please list down the advantages.

It is always good practice to maintain sequence number as in scenario 1.

Hello Mohan,
Routing means the sequence of operations which required to peoduce n assmebly at shop floor. If you define the wrong sequence like 20, 10, 30 then this effect in the scheudling, confirmation and costing everywhere.
I dont think this logical to define the wrong sequence. Please correct me if i am wrong.
In confirmation parameters if you check "operations sequence not to be checked" then confirmation will be allowed.
