restart TREX service

HI,

where can i restart or disable TREX service from?I am unable to start visual adminstrator since the server is down.Also tREX administrative tool is not installed.

Hi,

then u can control it over "Services" from Windows.

There u may find a service named "TREX Instance XX".

XX for your instance number.

Stop or restart this service will restart TREX.

Hi Rocky,

dependent of the TREX version you need to stop/start the service named either "SAP<SID>_<InstanceNumber" if you use TREX 7.0 (for example SAPTRX_01) or "TREX Instance <Instance Number>" if you run TREX 6.1
