Hello!

Platform: SAP BusinessObjects 4.2 SP 3 Patch 3

Below is the message we get in the event viewer. and when we checked the C drive on the server it was maxed out of space.

I have referred to KBA 1771273 and this was last updated on 2012.

Q: I would like to know if you guys have seen this error before or is there a fix for this in 4.2? and also any advice on how not to encounter this going forward.

FYI: The issue has been resolved by restarting the server

At the time of the problem there were only 13 sessions and the I/FRS O/FRS were red.

Message in the Event Viewer

Thanks for your time!

If your hard drive is out of space - that is the issue that you have to address.
You need to identify where and by which process the space is being eaten up.

this location

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data\<SERVER NAME>\SAPBOP.WebIntelligenceProcessingServer\sessions\

is the webi session cache location.
