Wrong Profit Center

Hi,

In Material Master, the Profit Center was wrongly put.

The MIGO & MIRO for the same Material is also done.

In MM02, I am able to change the Profit Center.

What all changes need to be done for the same along with chaging the Profit Center thru MM02.

Hi,

As per my knowledge.....

MM and FI docs (Profit Center and Controlling Docs) that have been alredy posted during MIGO and MIRO for them, entries should have gone in the profit center attached in Material Master.

But if you make change in MM02 for Profit center, future MM and FI docs will be posted in that Profit center only.

Yes you should reverse invoice and cancel Gr and then proceed again after you changed the profit center through mm02.

Otherwise,the new profit center does not link with the old gr and old invoice posting.

as sachin said if it is not possible to have new profit center attached to already posted accounting and material document. for that you have revese the cycle that is reverse invoice and cancel Gr and then proceed again.

as far as settings are concern as you have already changed the profit center in the MM02 without error that means config settings are ok.
