how to deal with SPAU dictionary objects.

hi experts,

i am working on SPAU objects. this is to upgrade from 4.6c to ecc6.0

i.e. type groups, table types,database tables,structures,search helps. here i am confused what needs to be done from my side.

and aslo while checking type groups and table types there is no vesrion management to check with previous version.

one more thing is while checking version managment for tables,there is a changes in certain fields, so what needs to be done from my side please help me.

for best solution points will be rewarded.

Hello,

SPAU is dealing with the modified repository objects, not DDIC objects. The modified DDIC objects are handled during the SPDD phase in the shadow instance.

During SPDD, you have 2 choices for the objects in the SPDD, adopt the change and reset to SAP original. If there's not conflict between upgraded SAP objects and the modified objects, you can adopt the changes. Otherwise, you will have to change objects manually in SE11.
