    Hi,

I had the same requirement and so I used Dictionary search help.

In this you have to attach dictionary search help as inpute mode for paricular

    context node.

e.g. If you want to attach a F4 help for vendor number, then goto attribute of that particular node and search for your attribute. Now click on vendor and change the properties of the same attribute as input help mode will be changed as

'Dictionary search help' and put your own created search help name in the

'Dictionary search help' tab. Also you can use standard search help name if you know as 'Dictionary search help '.

Also there is another way to handle the same.

In this blog you can find a solution with select options and custom F4

Hope I have solved your problem.

    Cheers,

    Darshna.

    Hi Fan,

To do the Free programmed serach help, you will create an another Webdynpro Component which has the selection cretaria and result tab all will be created by you only. Everything will be under your control. So you directly bind the DDIC Search help to the Attrubute of the Inputfield.

If you have any other queries please let me, i will try to solve it.

You Please check the following link Which has the doucmentation:

    hi fan ,

I have tried what you require but not with FreePorgrammed but with

    <i><b>Dictionary Search Help</b></i> .

    This is what I did.

    1. I made node in context called costcenter.

    2. In Property table >> Input help mode -> Dictionary Search Help.

    3. In Dictionary Search Help -> write name of search help you did .

    Cheers

    Parry
