XI or PI ? New Installation

Hi all,

i´m new in the XI technology, i want to know the diferences between XI and PI.

I only know that XI is for Web AS 6.40 and PI is for Web AS 7.00, is this correct ?

If i will plan to install NW2004s SR2 with XI or PI.... Which are the steps ?

Hi,

XI 3.0 is a part of Nw2004 and PI 7.0 ( Process Integration) is a part of NW2004s. Apart from the name change both provide the same features and every SP release of PI has a corresponding release of XI .
