Fiori Launchpad User/Admin roles in Backend and frontend system

Hi all,

As we know, there are some authorization objects required to be defined in the copy of SAP_UI2_USER_700 role in the backend and frontend system both in order to complete the config for the user to access the launchpad tiles.

As per the below blog , I do get the list of authorization objects required to be added to the SAP_UI2_USER_700 / SAP_UI2_ADMIN_700 pfcg role in the frontend and backend systems. However I would like to get a document regarding the same officially from SAP (either in form of SAP Note or in SAP HELP) which defines about these authorization objects also and not just the PFCG role names.

The reason for such official document is to get the BASIS team to be assured as assigning adding authorizations to a role is always critical.

Thanks for your reply. Actually in this document no where its mentioned that we need to add authorization template /IWFND/RT_ADMIN or the add the 3 authorizations inside this template manually. This authorization is necessary for viewing the tiles but its not mentioned in the above link.

As per SAP Note SAP note 2431835 also it says to assign the above authorization templates to view the tiles on launchpad in the GW system.

So basically i was looking for a complete document or help.sap steps with the Authorizations required to be added manually on both GW and ECC hub deployment systems (for admin and users).

User, developer and administrator roles pertaining to SAP NW Gateway are given here - User, Developer, and Administrator Authorizations
