Data Source for Recipe classification

Hi All,

We have a requirement of extracting the Recipe master classification data. Can some one explain how the data source can be created for Recipe master.

The class for the recipe is already available, but I donot know the start point for creating the datasource for this.

If anyone has worked on it please help me outr here.

Hi,

for any Generic datasource creation we need to know the Tables/views/Function module which holds these data.

then you create the datasource suing T-code RSO2.

then replicate the datasource and create the infosource which will be mapped to datatargets.

I have some basic steps to proceed with try ut out ,

Datasource :

create datasources in CTBW tcode.

How to handle with it you may see in the short documentation for the t-code in R/3:

SPRO->Settings for Application-Specific DataSources->Cross-Application Components-->Maintain DataSources for Classification Data (CTBW)

Infosource:

create the infosource (and infoobjects for the classification DS) on BW, run CTBW_META t-code and provide your source system and datasource info. This will generate the infoobjects and infosources for you.
