Copying Project

Hi experts,

I want help regarding the following scenario

I have created a project in a plant say BP01, with WBS & Network assigned to BP01.

Now I want to copy this project in another plant BP02. I have created different Project Profile and Network profile for Plant BP02.

But when I copy the project and specify different Project Profile (created for BP02), WBS is created for Plant BP02, but network still refers to BP01 and is grayed out.

How do I copy the project created in one plant (BP01) to a different plant (BP02) with all the assignment to Plant BP02.

Hi Taanya.

When a network is created, some information is taken from the WBS element it belongs to, e.g. company code. This information isn't necessarily changeable.

I'd advice you to copy the project from a template without networks and then create the networks anew. (Finally you could delete the networks in your already copied project and recreate them.) If patterns reappear you can of course copy the following networks from the first network you recreated with the correct plant.
