How to set up a Calculation in Compliance Scenario in Environmental Management?

Hello SAP Gurus,

I'm working on SAP-EHSM Environmental Management (EHS-MGM-ENV) and my client has third party lab on contract who is taking samples of various environmental parameters, calculate them and submits to the client. So I set-up below equation in Compliance Scenario Calculation Section

B=1*A

Where, B = Final Result

A = Result submiited by Lab.

But, while changing the status of Compliance Scenario to Active, system is giving me "Incomplete Calculation"

Can someone tell me how to set-up an equation in Calculation section?

Hi Saagar,

Not sure if this question is still relevant today as it is raised some 6 months back. ,

Based on compliance scenario you can have a Data Collection, Sampling or calculation specified. Using sampling you can directly use the measured values from the external vendor. What is the purpose for using a calculation ? Any normalization. Now coming to calculation equation did you check those variables "B" defined in system. You can check this by clicking on the "Scan variable from the Expression" button. Based on that you can correct the equation.

When I am trying to save the calculation I am getting the error "Data Source for Variable has not been defined".

Can you help me in this regards?
