Text line in Smart form

Hi,

I have a smart form requirement to print text.

ex : 1. <B>1111111111111111111111111111111111111</>

2. <U><B> aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa</></>

3. <I><B> bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb</></>

I need to print these text as it gets print in normal sap script.

Ex 1 Line should print bold.

2 Line should print underline and bold

3 Line should print italine and bold.

.

If I read the line and simply put into text editor, it would convert control ex <B> for bold. It simply print the data as it is eg <B>aaaaaa</>;

But I need it should get print eg <b>aaaaaa</b>.

Please if anybody are aware kindly mail me.

Thanks

Manglesh.

    Hi,

Create New Paragraph format in the SMARTSTYLES transaction. You can use the different formats for each line as required by selecting the format from the dropdown list in the editor.

    • Hi Mangalesh,

If you are aware of the content of the text line, like if there is any possibility to split the lines, for ex. line1 = textline0(20), line2 = textline20(15), line3 = textline+35(25), assign them to three different variables and print them dynamically. If the line has any separator, you can also use that to split the lines and assign the required paragraph formats.

      Regards,

      Sharmila

      Thanks Ravi,

I am getting all text lines at run time, so dynamically I can't assign the format.

      Ex "<B><U>aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa</></>"

      it should print "<u><b>aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa</b></u>"

There is no fix format I will get, It may be " <B><U><I> " then it should print Bold, underline and italic.

But how I can do dynamically.

If you are aware kindly update.

      Thanks

    Hi Manglesh,

In the Editor of the SAP Script it won't display any bold or italic or whatever the attributes.

While taking the Print Preview or Print only we can see those attributes.

For that create separate paragraph formats and use those thins for those lines.

    Reward with points if useful

    Hi,

you should create a smart style for your case. Create 3 paragraphs!

You can specify the different fonts in the font tab!

    Hope this helps you!
